Apparel Manager/Guest Relations -San Diego

EagleRider San Diego is looking for a manager with strong communication skills, organized, creative, strong sense of fashion and computer friendly. 

Job Duties:

 -Assure the effective handling of customers in the apparel department (including phone customers) and assist as needed.
-Participate in training and education of all personnel.
 
Manage the Apparel inventory, including but not limited to:
 
-Track movement of apparel and accessories inventory using all available resources and then order accordingly per our Ordering Procedure.  Effective tracking and ordering procedures eliminate outages in our “core” products i.e. helmets and gloves.  Your goal is to maintain an inventory that is narrow but deep; have a limited number of styles on hand, but have all sizes available for those styles.
-Identify new products that compliment our Mission, are appropriate for our location, and will move through at retail.
-Eradicate in reasonable fashion old merchandise and merchandise without a full size mix available.
-Monitor and maintain an accurate inventory in our inventory management system.
-Assure that the Apparel stock rooms are organized so that merchandise is easily accessible and identifiable.
-Implement and oversee a Sales process for our staff to provide excellent Customer
Service and generate maximum sales. Process should include monthly sales goals as well as salesperson tracking by avg. sale and line items per invoice.         
 
Manage the Merchandising of the apparel dept., including but not limited to:
 
-Create retail displays in an organized and attractive way so as to promote retail sales.
-Maintain clean, organized and full racks/displays.
-Rotate displays/inventory on a regular basis so as to keep the store looking fresh to repeat traffic.
-Generate marketing strategies for the apparel department and participate in their execution.
-Assure all merchandise on display has a price label and security tag.

-Maintain as confidential all information shared in Management meetings.
-Uphold and enforce all apparel and departmental policies, including those outlined in the employee manual.
