Job Summary:
This is a position for a creative, experienced and resourceful individual.  At Spooky Fast Customs we are dedicated to delivering the highest quality finishes and products while providing our customers with a truly exceptional experience.  As an airbrush artist you will be working directly with our customers to develop design ideas and partnering with our talented team to bring those ideas to life.
 
Job Requirements:

  • A friendly demeanor and fun personality are a huge plus.
  • Must be proficient in Adobe Photoshop Illustrator.
  • Strong technical knowledge of custom automotive paint techniques.
  • Strong portfolio of various artwork, techniques, and styles.
  • Ability to paint with an audience; in dealerships, at workshop etc.

 
Job Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to work with project from beginning to end and meet deadlines.
  • Meet with customers to discuss design ideas.
  • Troubleshoot with other technicians through projects.
  • Work with other departments to complete artistic needs
  • Be able to work in an unstructured environment with strict deadlines and attention to detail
  • Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands:

  • Occasionally required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift up to 40 lbs.

 
Working Conditions:

  • Is potentially exposed to battery acid, gasoline, chemical cleaning materials or other toxic materials commonly found in a motor vehicle service department.
  • The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud.
  • Occasionally, exposed to exhaust fumes or other airborne particles.
  • May be required to work odd, unusual or extended hours.
