Overview
We are a fast-growing business looking for a full-time Administrative Assistant for our corporate office located in Norwalk, California.
SSR is a leading importer and distributor in the power sports industry. We offer a full line of power sports products such as off-road and on-road motorcycles, scooters, UTVs, ATV's as well as electric bicycles to dealerships nationwide.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Answer phone and direct calls accordingly. Take messages or field/answer all routine and non-routine questions.
- Arrange shipping quotes and freight pick up.
- Coordinate shipments with warehouse and check outbound shipments.
- Maintain office forms and procedures and assist with administrative tasks.
- Process vehicle and parts orders for retail customers and dealerships.
- Process the daily order intake from our dealer network which includes shipping and accounting processes.
- Maintain back-order log, order parts with the sourcing department and track their arrival.
- Process and maintain dealer set-up paperwork.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail.
- Respond to regularly occurring requests for information.
- Duplicate and distribute materials.
- Must be able to understand parts diagrams/schematics.
- Operate office machines as required.
Competencies:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer savvy, experience with MS Office, Excel, G-Suite, and Internet.
- 10 key, 40+ WPM
- Team player
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
The ideal candidate will have previous similar work experience. Motorcycle industry knowledge is preferred but not required.
Bilingual with Chinese Mandarin is a PLUS.
Qualifications and Skills:
High school or equivalent and 1 year experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar position.

Work Schedule: 8 am to 5 pm – Monday through Friday
