Salary Range: $76K - $134K / Salary Range

Yamaha has an excellent opportunity available for a Supervisor, Racing Administration/Assistant Department Manager to join our Motorsports team in Cypress, California. In this role you will supervise all areas of Road Racing while using all of Yamaha’s resources to achieve the objective of Yamaha’s racing results.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Work with professional racers, teammates and sponsors in an organized, confident and inspiring fashion.
  • Schedule and manage YMUS Staff.
  • Coordinate all dealer appearances by riders.
  • Attend racing events to support outside Yamaha Teams and represent Yamaha on the AMA Advisory board for Road Racing.
  • Supervise all motorcycle development, testing, parts orders, repairs on Yamaha assets including all vehicles used by racing and leased test tracks.
  • Schedule parts machining jobs with outside vendors; organize spares and spare assemblies with parts coordinator and  approve special parts orders.
  • Generate reports of supported events by bike and class for marketing strategies.
  • Maintain communication with YMC, YMUS testing, service and warranty department regarding YZ technical problems.

What you ne to be successful:

  • High school diploma
  • 5 years racing experience at the professional level.
  • Use of Microsoft Office and etc.,
  • Understanding of airline, hotel and general travel is required due to extensive travel

Pay Range:

$76,270 – $134,240

Yamaha intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related experience.  Base pay is part of Yamaha’s Total Reward program, our Talent Acquisition Team will share more details as candidates progress.
