-Ensure smooth and profitable operation of all departments of dealership.
-Set goals and objectives.
-Abide and enforce all dealership policies.
-Implement and maintain controls to ensure corporate policies are carried out.
-Direct and monitor Sales Managers and sales personnel performance.
-Stay informed of all factory and supplier programs.
-Monitor submission of warranty, co-op, & rebate programs for timely payment.
-Maintain, secure and monitor relationships with financial sources.
-Ensure purchase order system is implemented and adhered to.
-Monitor Accounts Payable, Receivable and prioritize cash disbursements.
-Sign all checks. Review monthly bank statements.
-Open all mail to ensure immediate awareness of customer complaints, supplier programs, returned checks, invoices and other critical data.
-Stay aware of used bike market as well as used bike inventory.
-Review personnel pay plans, performance, incentives, and productivity.
-Meet with each department head on a weekly basis.
-Plan all advertising programs and ensure that all staff is made aware of them.
-Maintain good relations with the community.
