Outside Sales Representative – Tucker Powersports – SD/WY/MT Region

Position Overview:
This position is responsible for selling products and partnering with dealers within an assigned account list. This position will maintain and grow existing business, targeting, and securing new business to profitably grow sales and increase market share. This position will also develop a consultative sales relationship with dealers to grow and expand sales of existing and new product lines, striving to delight dealers and earn the right to be their provider of product, information, and technology.

Position Responsibilities:

  1. Create and execute strategies for territory management that maintain and grow existing business while also targeting and securing new opportunities to achieve sales goals.
  2. Utilize available tools to analyze account performance, purchase activity and trends to identify sales opportunities.
  3. Identify dealer needs and collaborate with appropriate resources to bring solutions and grow sales.
  4. Learns, understands, and can articulate the value of our proprietary and key distributed brands to target growth.
  5. Implement promotional and marketing programs to maximize sales.
  6. Develop and maintain knowledge of the market and actively work to increase market share.
  7. Maintain customer and account information by utilizing the customer relationship management tool.
  8. Deliver exceptional service to a diverse set of dealer types by understanding and proactively responding to their needs.
  9. Develop strong partnerships with the Tucker Powersports team, dealership employees, and key vendor representatives.
  10. Understands and articulates the benefits of Tucker Powersports resources such as brands, products, eCommerce support, merchandising and training.
  11. Maintain appropriate level of sales samples and related support material to provide product presentations.
  12. Periodically attend trade shows, sales training, and industry events.
  13. Support Tucker Powersport initiatives and programs as required.
  14. Carries out assigned duties in a manner consistent with Tucker Powersports Vision Statement and core values.

  • High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree

Experience:
Mandatory Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of related experience in face-to-face sales or customer service interaction.

Working Conditions:

  • Works in home office and dealer shop (face-to-face) conditions.
  • Travels to dealer locations daily to meet with customers face-to-face.
