Inside Sales Representative – Tucker Powersports – Fort Worth, TX

Position Overview:
This position is responsible for selling product and partnering with assigned customers within a geographic region to build their business through sales of all product lines carried by Tucker Powersports.

Position Responsibilities:

  1. Partners with dealers to establish a consultative sales relationship that facilitates profitable dealer business growth through accessory and apparel sales acting as a key problem solver for their account.
  2. Maintains and grows existing business, targets, and secures new opportunities to increase market share.
  3. Reviews promotional information provided. Understands and implements promotional and marketing programs to maximize sales.
  4. Takes an active ownership role in selling excess and obsolescent merchandise.
  5. Establishes objectives, such as sales by account or territory, average lines per account, and develops and implements plans to achieve those objectives.
  6. Communicates effectively and professionally with co-workers and managers, relaying all information affecting sales, market trends, and conditions, market segment performance and competitive situations. Prepares occasional reports, verbal or written, to support this communication.
  7. Utilizes all tools available to analyze account performance and identifies opportunities to maximize sales.
  8. Maintains customer information and notes utilizing the customer relationship management tool.
  9. Other duties as assigned.

Skills:

  1. Knowledge and understanding of sales process management (CRM) systems.
  2. Knowledge in issue tracking.
  3. Ability to proficiently use a computer.
  4. Skill in use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  6. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
  7. Excellent phone skills.
  8. Excellent customer service skills.
  9. Strong listening, negotiation, and sales skills.
  10. Ability to achieve targets and take initiative.

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of phone sales experience.
  • 1-2 years of TRADITIONAL SALES experience.

Working Conditions:
