In this position you will be responsible for the global strategy, execution, analysis, and on-going optimization of TLD’s global direct digital sales and communication strategy, with full P&L responsibility. You will lead all digital activities to drive brand awareness, acquire new customers, build customer loyalty, while engaging customers to drive sales for the TLD brand across all relevant digital channels. You will work with internal management teams, distribution partners, agencies, and third-party vendors to execute budget planning, and reporting for all digital channels.

Duties & Responsibilities (Include But Are Not Limited To): 

  • The Senior Director of Global Digital and E-Commerce is responsible for collaborating with cross-functional partners to manage all aspects of the global digital and e-commerce business including, business planning, content strategy and development, promotional campaigns and other online marketing, website design, customer service, web analytics and web technologies as needed to achieve revenue budgets.
  • Serve as a liaison and primary point of contact within the digital and e-commerce organization for cross functional partners acting as a project manager to evaluate, prioritize, develop, manage, implement, and test e-commerce initiatives.
  • Oversee all aspects of digital sales and advertising including: forecasting, budgeting, calendaring, SEO/SEM, affiliate, retargeting, new customer acquisition and retention.
  • Develop and deploy DTC digital commerce global roadmap covering E-com, Amazon, Social platforms, and integrated efforts with wholesale digital key accounts.
  • Manage the user experience of the website including site navigation, content development, checkout funnel and promotional campaigns.
  • Develop and oversee the effective planning, QA, and execution of content across the websites and online marketing campaigns to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of all web content publishing.
  • Manage all aspects of web analytics related to digital and e-Commerce and communicate relevant information to team members, executive leadership, and cross-functional partners.
  • Participate in the development and execution of strategic and tactical business plans with other members of the cross functional teams supporting digital and e-commerce strategy.
  • Partner with key cross-functional teams to ensure all relevant organizational goals and implications are factored into digital and e-Commerce projects.
  • Partner with Brand Marketing team leads to ensure alignment with our brand strategy.
  • Lead and mentor Digital Team to optimize internal and external resources, promote and foster continued education and personal growth.

Qualifications Required: 

  • At Least 10 years’ experience working in an E-Commerce environment where you have been responsible for creating and executing strategies across site merchandising, buying, and marketing to drive incremental revenue growth.
  • At least 4 years of leading a team managing all aspects of Ecommerce team/BU
  • Experience with managing Advertising agencies, ongoing platform enhancements with internal and external developers
  • Skilled in demand generation, conversion rate optimization, A/B testing, managing development roadmap and priorities
  • Managing Amazon 3P marketplace – understanding of Seller Central functionality, listing optimization, Amazon demand generation, keyword research and best practices.
  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing or equivalent years of work experience.
  • Bring creativity, sense of urgency, positivity, and analytical rigor to the pursuit of our mission and growth.
  • Have in depth knowledge of Global E-Commerce, consumer behavior, E-Commerce marketing strategy/best practices, tools, vendor management and project management.
  • Possess an acute awareness of our product assortment, growth strategies and marketing product, and the tools that are needed to take our site experience to the next level.
  • Thoughtful team leader skilled at establishing business priorities and the ability to persuasively gain alignment with internal and external business partners.
  • Bring projects from inception to completion.
  • Collaborating closely with team members at all levels and being accountable for high-priority projects.

Great to Have:

  • Experience within the Bike and or Moto industries.
  • Experience with Shopify Platform and associated apps, Listrak, Yotpo, NetSuite, Amazon Seller Central, digital commerce, and communication software.
