POSITION OVERVIEW
The Sales Manager is an avid motorcycle enthusiast specialized in parts and accessories knowledge with a focus on increasing B2C and B2B sales and honing product selection. The candidate possesses knowledge of the motorcycles SW-MOTECH makes parts for as well as of motorcycle specific parts applications and basic installations. With a focus on increasing sales and revenue, the candidate analyzes sales and develops management reports on top sellers, areas of sales opportunities for currently underserved product or bike categories, and collaborates on marketing initiatives. The candidate develops sales promotions, and assists with B2C and B2B sales through phone calls, email, at motorcycle events, and in our Portland showroom. An energetic natural in front of customers, SW-MOTECH USA’s Sales Manager conducts engaging product overviews and trainings for social media and at national powersports events.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Conducts sales activities specific to customer motorcycle/riding style via phone, email, at events, and in the showroom.
• Develops extensive product knowledge, and is able to advise customers and dealers on technical installation questions.
• Develops B2C and B2B sales programs and collaborates with Marketing.
• Tracks sales, develops reports for management, and creates programs to grow sales.
• Conducts product and installation trainings for social media, and at B2C and B2B events.
• Assists customers with product questions and makes recommendations for product purchases.
• Some order taking via email or phone utilizing ERP system (Sage 100) to support the CS team.
• Communicates order confirmations, stock availability, and expected delivery dates.
• Collaborates with Technical Service Manager with customer questions and warranty issues.
• Collaborates with Dealer Sales Specialist with sales programs and events.
• Communicates and collaborates with teammates in Germany.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum five years related or equivalent work experience.
• College degree preferred.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English (primary language used in the workplace); Bilingual (German) a plus; not required.
• Advanced knowledge of motorcycle models and motorcycle luggage, parts, and accessories.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Retail merchandising experience a plus
• Versatility, flexibility, and enthusiasm in a dynamic start-up environment.
• Ability to resolve complex issues with minimum supervision.
• Commitment to excellence and high standards.
• Strong organizational skills; ability to manage priorities and workflow.
• Coordinate activities with other departments, take corrective actions, and escalate issues to appropriate individuals.
• Effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
