SW-MOTECH USA, the American arm of a global leader in the production of premium motorcycle luggage, rack systems, and ergonomic and protective parts, is seeking an energetic, customer-oriented professional with an interest in motorcycles to provide customer service, and support sales.
SW-MOTECH USA successfully opened our doors a little over a year ago with a small showroom to support our comprehensive ecommerce site sw-motech.us. While we are a small team and each wear several hats, we are poised for growth, expansion, and new opportunities.
We enjoy a dynamic work environment with a small staff of fun energetic avid motorcyclists. SW-MOTECH USA is located in a bustling part of central Portland near Moto Corsa at the base of Skyline and other great motorcycle getaways.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Answers phones and directs calls appropriately or responds to customer inquiry.
Greets customers visiting showroom and assists with product questions and makes recommendations for products specific to customer motorcycle/riding style.
In collaboration with the Sales Manager and Technical Support Manager, provides timely resolution of customer inquiries, using a variety of systems and resources.
Takes orders via email or phone and enter into ERP system (Sage 100).
Communicates order confirmations, stock availability, and expected delivery dates.
Processes customer return and order cancellation requests with accounting team.
Frequently communicates or collaborates with teammates in Germany.
Collaborates with Logistics and Warehouse regarding customer orders and inventory.
Communicates with logistics company on Air and Sea freight shipment deliveries.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Minimum three years related or equivalent work experience.
College degree preferred.
Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English (primary language used in the workplace); Bilingual (German) a strong plus; not required.
General knowledge of motorcycle models and motorcycle luggage, parts, and accessories. Harley Davidson specific knowledge a plus.
Retail merchandising experience a plus but not required.
Excellent customer service skills.

Strong organizational skills; ability to manage priorities and workflow.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
