Shawnee PowerSports is one of the fastest growing powersports dealerships in the Midwest and has a reputation built on quality work. Shawnee Powersports is looking to hire a like-minded individual for the Parts Manager position.
Shawnee PowerSports is seeking a self-motivated individual who communicates well, and values customer satisfaction to join team as the Parts Manager. Candidate must be professional, friendly, detail oriented, and is able to multi-task. The Parts Manager is responsible for running a profitable and efficient parts department. He/she will accomplish objectives through the use of proper purchasing procedures, inventory control, staff utilization, security, pricing, merchandising, displaying, and advertising.
Pay depends on experience and willingness to grow with a successful company. Salary can range anywhere from $45,000 – $75,000 annually.
Essential Duties:
Strive for teamwork with all other departments.
Work with the Service Manager to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed for internal jobs.
Attend managers’ meetings.
Understand, keep abreast of, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that may affect parts sales.
Train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of all parts department staff.
Direct and schedule the activities of all parts department employees.
Provide technical assistance to parts department employees.
Handle customer complaints immediately and according to the dealership’s guidelines.
Establish and enforce a pricing policy that balances volume, customer loyalty, and the cost of doing business.
Monitor and adjust inventory to minimize obsolescence.
QUALIFICATIONS:
One year of supervisory experience.
Excellent communication and managerial skills.
Will be trained on the dealership’s computer system.
Ability to operate the department profitably within dealership guidelines.
Professional personal appearance.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
