High Desert Harley-Davidson® is Idaho’s largest Harley-Davidson® dealership and we are looking for a full-time, outgoing, hard-working EXPERIENCED SALES MANAGER to join our motorcycle SALES TEAM!

We are looking for an aggressive, outgoing, take charge Sales Manager. Must have proven leadership skills and the ability to develop a sales team. Our sales process is all about creating a better motorcycle buying experience with employees who love what they do.

The Sales manager will be responsible for achieving maximum profitability of the sales department while focusing on customer and employee retention. Must be flexible with schedule and be able to work weekends and some after-hours and off-site events. Some travel may be required.

Job Requirements:

-Minimum 3 years auto or motorcycle sales experience required.
-Auto or motorcycle sales management experience preferred, Harley-Davidson experience a plus.
-Proven track record of successfully meeting and exceeding sales goals.
-Excellent customer service, organizational and negotiation/closing skills.
-Self-motivated, goal-oriented and enthusiastic presence in a team environment.
-Strong written and communication skills.
-Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word).

-Strong knowledge of market and in-depth understanding of all sales departments’ financial data.
-Professional appearance and work ethic.


-Create an action plan and effectively manage sales staff.

-Must have prior Sales Management experience, preferably in the motorcycle industry.
-Be professional and have a great attitude.

-Tracking all customers and making sure all leads are logged.

-Assist individual salespeople in setting aggressive, realistic monthly sales goals.

-Identify coaching needs and promote training opportunities.

-Work closely with sales team on enforcement of proper selling methods.
-Multitask and have an open mind to learn.

-Set objectives for achieving sales and gross profits.

-Review inventory daily to ensure the proper mix of stock for maximum turnover efficiency.

-Set an example of professionalism through actions and appearance.
-Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
-Must have reliable transportation.

-Must be willing to wear a DOT motorcycle helmet when operating any motorcycle on HD property.
-Able to operate a motorcycle and possess a Motorcycle Endorsement on your Driver’s License.
