Job Description
Powersports industry Mechanic/Technician with minimal, medium or extensive experience and history in manufacturers including, but not limited to, POLARIS, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki, CFMoto and Husqvarna. Technician will be required to perform diagnostic, repair and accessory installation and mounting skills in chemical, electrical and mechanical applications. Knowledge of computer use for the purposes of diagnostics, repair, education, data entry, and information retrieval will be required. Usage of service manuals electronic or paper will be required to diagnose, repair and service our units. Use of accessory installation literature will be required for proper fitment and learning of new applications. Knowledge of parts diagrams is required for fitment, replacement and repair. Ability to lift in excess of 50lbs is required to perform duties. Motorcycle riding skills and endorsement license are required for the purpose of diagnostic and verification of repair. Preferred manufacturers certifications are preferred for consideration of position proving professional development commitment. Technician will be required to complete and maintain certifications from our manufacturers for professional development and continuous quality improvement. Technician must own professional quality tools and toolbox for diagnostics and repair that are directed at the powersports industry for consideration of hire. Technician will be critiqued and evaluated for proficiency, efficiency and effectiveness at the discretion of the Dealer.
This is a Base Plus Flat Rate/Flag Hours paid employment opportunity and the rate paid per hour will be discussed and agreed upon on an individual basis. We are prepared and have a competitive employment plan for the individual that meets the job description, preferences, requirements and demands.
