JOB SUMMARY:

As the V-Twin Technical Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and dealer adoption of our Rekluse, Wiseco, JE Pistons, PAC, Victory, and Manley Performance brands within the V-Twin market segment. Your primary responsibilities will include establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, developing sales strategies, creating standard processes, and providing technical expertise to both internal teams and external partners.

Travel up to 50% at different events may be required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive profitable margin and revenue growth, while increasing market share within the V-Twin segment.
  • Dealer Adoption Programs: Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create and execute dealer adoption programs, incentives, and promotions to encourage dealer engagement and product adoption.
  • Product Knowledge and Training: Serve as a subject matter expert on our product line, providing technical support and training to internal teams, dealers, and customers.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities for product improvement or expansion.
  • Gathering voice of the customer for the purpose of informing product management of new or improved product opportunities.
  • Standard Process Creation: Develop and implement standard processes for sales operations, including pricing strategies, order fulfillment, and customer support, to ensure efficiency and consistency across the organization.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor sales performance metrics, track progress against targets, and generate reports to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Industry Relationship Management: Leverage existing industry connections and establish new relationships with dealers, distributors, and key stakeholders to expand our brand presence and drive sales.
  • Event Attendance/Travel: Travel up to 50% at different events.

REQUIREMENTS
Education: Practical work experience highly valued with emphasis in V-Twin technical product sales.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in technical sales within the powersports industry, with a focus on V-Twin motorcycles, at least five of which are at the managerial level.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building successful relationships with dealers and distributors.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies that drive results.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to work with, and communicate to, all levels of the business. Excellent time management skills. Ability to   handle multiple projects and priorities at one time. Highly organized.

Other Skills (Technical, or Other special knowledge and abilities): Strong technical knowledge of performance products the V-Twin industry.
