Job Description:
As a Service Writer, you will be the vital link between our customers and our service team. You will play a key role in maintaining customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction by managing all service interactions with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency.
Work Schedule: Tuesday to Friday, 9am – 6pm | Saturday, 9am – 4pm
Responsibilities:
– Greet and engage with service customers upon arrival, providing a positive experience
– Efficiently check in service customers, obtaining essential information and preparing repair orders
– Organize and manage the daily schedule for our team of technicians
– Process warranty claims in conjunction with each manufacturer promptly
– Collaborate with technicians and parts associates to ensure the timely completion of work
– Inform customers about the status of their motorcycles, explaining the work done and its cost
– Finalize service transactions, receiving payments, and ensuring complete customer satisfaction
– Follow up with customers to assess their satisfaction and handle any inquiries or complaints
– Maintain an up-to-date understanding of all motorcycles and accessories
Required Skills and Experience:
– Prior experience in a similar role within the automotive industry, preferably at a motorcycle dealership
– Proficiency with dealership management software
– Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
– Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
– Ability to work independently, follow routines, and manage time effectively
– Knowledge of motorcycle mechanics is a plus
Compensation & Benefits:
– Annual base salary plus commission on technicians’ hours sold
– Health insurance coverage (50% company-paid) available after 3 months in the position
