Our Digital Services Department is adding a Digital Content Specialist to the team. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and energetic Powersports enthusiast.
Overview
The Digital Content Specialist is responsible for collecting and manipulating part and product information and content from internal and external sources. This position is also accountable for publishing the content to the appropriate product groups within the LeMans content system. Additionally, the Digital Content Specialist will assume responsibility assisting in the ongoing development of online content best practices for part and product information collection, editing and publishing.
Essential Functions
- Works on a team gathering, creating, curating, and editing large amounts of part and product content
- Performs maintenance on data/assets utilizing the Content Management System
- Organizes, edits, and proofreads part descriptions, images, videos, and feature copy
- Pull part fitment information from Excel spreadsheets and load information into the Content Management System
- Assists in validation testing of new or enhanced site features and functionality
- Enforces the consistency of the online product representation, including, but not limited to, product descriptions, technical attribute selection, and population, partnering with Team Communications Coordinator on media and fitment sourcing
- Track all received and requested vendor part information through JIRA
- Prioritize work by daily review of dashboard data within the Content Management System
- Maintains strict confidentiality
- Performs other tasks and/or duties as assigned
Non-essential functions
- Communicates to the Sales and Purchasing teams to gain access of media for product details
- Provides recommendation to improve product content management system
Required Qualifications and Education
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with digital/online content
- Understanding of Content Management Systems (CMS) and product information
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong internet search engines skills
- Strong logical, analytical, and organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Ability to remain positive and efficient under pressure
- Detail oriented
- Industry knowledge
- High speed internet
