Our Purchasing Department is looking to add a full-time Buyer – Powersports Parts, Accessories and Apparel. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and energetic Powersports enthusiast.

The Powersports Buyer is accountable for forecasting, managing sales and inventory levels mainly for apparel and helmets. The buyer establishes and maintains good business relations with LeMans’ vendors and suppliers working closely with domestic and international vendors as well as our multi-national team at Parts Europe in Germany.
Candidates should have the following qualifications:
· Being able to multitask in a fast paced environment
· 2-3 years’ applicable work experience preferably in the Powersports Industry
· Experience with apparel buying preferred but not required
· Strong math and analytical skills
· Strong computer skills including knowledge and experience using Microsoft Excel and/or forecasting/buying experience in an MSRP type purchasing program
· Solid communication skills both written and oral
· Experience with apparel preferred but not required
· Problem solving skills, attention to detail, time management and organization skills a must.
( Applicable work experience includes working in a service position with in depth product and application knowledge, working in a Powersports dealership, experience buying parts and accessories. Candidates with buying experience within a distribution operation or manufacturer also will be considered. Experience in International Purchasing a plus but not required.)
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Product selection and market analysis from a distribution perspective
· Purchasing products from assigned vendors to maintain appropriate inventory levels
· Forecasting and managing sales and inventory based on historical trends and data
· Purchasing inventory to ensure timely deliveries of product
· Maintaining /developing good partnerships with our vendors and suppliers
· Procure and maintain documentation related to product lines
