Rapidly expanding Powersports dealership is in search of a Service/Parts Counter Person to help maintain the high-quality customer service our growing customer base deserves.
This position requires an individual with excellent interpersonal communication skills, product knowledge, the ability to multitask, a disciplined work ethic, and a strong enthusiasm for the Powersports industry.
Job duties will include maintaining appropriate parts inventory, ordering, counter sales, merchandising, organizing inventory, and interacting with service technicians to accurately order parts needed for repair orders.
Interact with customers on the telephone, face-to-face, or via computer.
Greet all customers he/she comes in contact with in a courteous manner.
Recommend products appropriately.
Look up and order parts using parts manuals (hard copy and electronic).
Provide quotes and other information to customers.
Use a cash register to collect payments and return proper change.
Follow prescribed cash, credit, and check processing procedures of the dealership.
Interface with service technicians and ensure their parts and accessories needs are met.
Use and operate a computer and multiple computer programs.
Adhere to corporate policies/procedures, documentation standards, and applicable regulatory requirements (i.e., federal, state, local).
Exercise an appropriate level of courtesy, tact, and professional communications in dealing with others.
Exhibit a high level of commitment to customer satisfaction.
Adhere to a standard of professional ethics.
Show a high level of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
Work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of tasks efficiently and with minimal error.
Maintain positive relationships with customers, other employees, and owners.
Keep himself/herself groomed and clothed per the dealership guidelines.

Minimum Education (or substitute experience)
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience and/or knowledge of motorcycles and power sports and their parts is a plus.
Light mechanical knowledge.
2 years Powersports experience preferred
Must own a motorcycle, or previous ownership.
