Powersports Sales and Product Support
About the job:
Reporting to the Powersports Brand Manager, Powersports Sales and Product Support responsibilities include driving top line revenue growth for the assigned market segment which includes motorcycle, SXS, ATV, snowmobile and marine. This position requires experience in the motorcycle/powersports market and strong communication skills. The position will contribute to the support and growth of Powersports sales by performing the following duties:
- Aide in management of existing North American distributors and key retail accounts
- Aide in the development, execution and tracking of sales programs with accounts
- Audit distributors and key accounts of products carried and encouraging the stocking of missing products
- Insure distributors and key accounts have current and correct product images and copy in catalogs/websites
- Aide in management and updating of application charts
- A point of contact for all distributor sales reps and staff
- Travel and visit Powersports dealers with distributor sales reps
- Staff trade and consumer events
- Provide sales training to accounts and distributor reps
- Propose new products into appropriate product line
- Researching and aiding in the customer requests that arrive via phone/web/social media
Qualifications:
- Experience with Powersports products
- Experience in product development, strategic planning and implementation
- Ability to be pro-active with a sense of urgency
- BA in Business/Marketing or similar work experience
- Ability to travel with minimal supervision
