About the job – 

Reporting to the Business Development Manager, The Maxima Bicycle Brand Manager will work cross-functionally with members of the marketing, sales, and product teams to support company goals and objectives. Has responsibility for drafting and executing the business plan, owning project management, and crafting and implementing both consumer and business-focused creative plans to ultimately drive revenue and growth for the brand. The position requires commercial experience and knowledge of the complete business cycle of consumer-packaged goods. The position will drive market share and brand equity growth of the Maxima Bicycle Segment by performing the following duties:

  • Manage existing North American distributors and key retail accounts
  • Key point of contact for all distributor sales reps and staff
  • Travel and visit bicycle dealers with distributor sales reps
  • Plan and attend trade and consumer events
  • Provide sales training to accounts and distributor reps
  • Research and propose new products into appropriate product line
  • Drive new product development from initial concept to commercial launch
  • Provide technical customer support to both retailers and end consumers
  • Work with Marketing department to drive content creation
  • Manage rider support, teams, and individuals
  • Support International business development
  • Maintain web based B2B digital asset site
  • Identify new packaging requirements and trends
  • Create competitive landscapes for each product category


  • A Cycling enthusiast
  • An excellent communicator, written and presentational
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Apps, Business ERP and CRM
  • BA in Business/Marketing or similar work experience
  • Ability to travel with minimal supervision
