LS2 is on the gas!!! We are growing at record rates and we need a profession to assist us with our growth. The Supply Chain Planner is a key member of the Operations team. Their primary responsibilities include executing inventory planning strategies and purchase order management to support excellent customer service while balancing company’s inventory and cash flow goals.
Remote locations are a possibility with the right experience.
RESPONSIBILTIES:
Analyzing historical data, statistical information and sales reports in order to trend future replenishment needs
Review new business requirements and adjust supply plan accordingly
Develop ordering, supply plan, and inventory projections in order to manage inventory turns
Submit orders to suppliers and monitor/prioritize production and shipments as needed to meet customer demand
Balance supply levels in order to most effectively utilize company resources for each DC while maintaining targeted inventory levels and service levels.
Minimizing overstock while maintaining a best-in-class fill rate
Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams on new item launches, product revisions and end-of-life scenario
Participates in new product introduction process to ensure successful launch.
Set up New Product launch SKU’s in various systems
Foster relationship with Suppliers and provide primary point of contact for daily interactions
Communicate (email and video call) with Asia suppliers and team members as needed both during the day and occasionally in the evening
Publish slow moving stocks / potential for write off.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree (preferably business or supply chain focused) required or equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor’s degree.
3+ years procurement experience in conjunction w/supply chain/materials management
APICS training preferred
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Project management skills
Intermediate Excel and basic Word skills
Experience working with suppliers in Asia a plus
