Key Account Sales Representative

We have an immediate need for a Key Account Sales Representative to build our key account, distributor and export relationships through industry leading customer service. Our goal is to connect with our top customers who share our passion for excellent products. This is an amazing opportunity for someone with high level sales experience to join a growing company in the cycling and power sports industry. This position is based at our Santa Clarita, Ca. office, in a casual office environment. Both local and nationwide overnight travel is required. You may also be occasionally asked to represent Leatt® at evening, weekend, and/or out of town at events, meetings, races or tradeshows.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Work together with Leatt®’s marketing and sales team to become an excellent partner in business with our top group of customers. Meet and exceed assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual, as well as category sales goals within your assigned customer group.
Regularly engage in outgoing sales calls and dealer visits, educating key account buyers on the Leatt® brand message and the cutting edge technology and features of our award winning product line. Assist your customers with technical, service, and delivery issues…all while growing Leatt®’s product line penetration and sales within this elite group of accounts.
Respond to incoming dealer emails and calls in a timely manner, manage all aspects of the key dealer’s order: from order placement to tracking order though to fulfillment to ensure proper customer satisfaction
Interface with related departments to problem solve complex customer inquiries
Ensure accurate order entry and shipment processing, support and assist sales management with progress reporting and market research.
Become an expert with respect to the Leatt® product offering, it’s market position, and it’s brand guidelines, as well as an expert with respect to the overall protection market and related products.
·∙ Bachelors Degree in Business or other related field
·∙ 4+ years sales experience within the bicycle, power sports, or action sports industry.
·∙ Must have an in depth understanding and knowledge of the powersports protection industry, competing protection brands, channels, and culture.
·∙ Goal oriented….must posses an unbeatable drive to achieve, and exceed assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual, as well as category sales goals.
·∙ Must have excellent customer service skills and the ability to effectively sell the Leatt® brand and our products both over the phone and in person, handle customer questions, and demands.
·∙ Must have top level analytical abilities and the ability to develop, run, read and use advanced reporting tools to conduct streamlined and profitable business.
·∙ Have exceptional mathematical skills and a complete understanding of price level computing, margins, costing, discounting and all other business and sales related math.
·∙ Possess excellent computer skills (Microsoft applications, etc) and the ability to quickly learn new technologies and order management / data entry systems including SAP.
·∙ Must be comfortable with cross-departmental communication with all levels.
·∙ Adaptable and capable of multi-tasking and thriving in a busy environment.
·∙ Able to work independently, remotely, and on the fly, as well as within our team environment on long range future projects.
·∙ Great with people in person and on the phone, extremely professional, patient and composed. Possess a confident, dynamic, positive and fun can-do attitude.

·∙ Solid decision making and problem solving skills, ability to think on feet a must.
