SUMMARY
Under minimal supervision, the District Sales Manager, PG&A – (Northwest – Washington, North Idaho, Western Montana) is responsible for creating and implementing growth plans by developing relationships, increasing sales volume, and creating an exemplary brand experience for KTM Group dealers within a specified geographic territory. They work with the direction of the Director, PG&A Sales to ensure that the Company products and services are being represented in a quality manner for maximum customer satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop relationships with key decision maker(s) inside dealerships throughout a specified geographical territory.
Identify opportunities to increase sales of PG&A in dealerships throughout a specified geographical territory.
Work with dealership staff to grow overall PG&A business through Product/DealerNet training, Visual Merchandising, and Event Support.
Work with dealership staff to maximize profit margins by participating in all PG&A programs.
Improve dealership inventory health by maintaining/filling stock and utilizing program exchange/return allowances.
Meets with Director, PG&A Sales on a regular basis for guidance, status updates, and to aid in progress in meeting quotas.
Work with District Sales Managers crossing over into a specified geographical territory.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Generally requires a minimum of three years (3), with Bachelor’s Degree to six (6) years of PG&A sales experience, working in the motorcycle industry for an aftermarket company, OEM, or dealership. Knowledge of and experience with CDK Lightspeed (and other DMS software) is required. Advanced knowledge of motorcycle industry, history and trends preferred. Required proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in business related field required.
