Overview

The Marketing/Communications coordinator will be responsible for marketing Kent Powersports L.P. with a strategic plan to accomplish growth objectives, and a strong reputation of high quality Dealership sales and service in this motorcycle/boat industry marketplace.
The planning and coordination of special marketing events is costly and should be carefully organized to assure success. Developing a simple “Action Plan” of assignments and logistics is highly recommended to best communicate details, and assurance that necessary delegated tasks are accomplished. An operational budget will be dictated by Management to control this advertising and marketing detail. It is expected that all modifications will be communicated to Management, and formally reviewed for necessary modifications if appropriate.

Associated responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Exhibit a positive and teamwork type attitude, while respecting all employees
  of the organization.
• Advise Dealer Principals on advertising campaigns and opportunities.
  Ensure that managers are aware of active and pending advertising programs.
• Communicate with Management all updates, appointments, meetings, programs, etc.
• Develop a process to follow through with all contracts and promises.
• Appropriate professional appearance and business attire required as a representative of Kent Powersports.
• Get with Store Manager for processing Co-op for all Manufactures.
• Post on all platforms of Social Media, ie Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+, etc.
• Networking on other Business’ Pages, as well as keep up to date with events going on around our city to stay involved with the community.
• Send out a mass Marketing Emails through our CRM.
• Keeps Website data up to date with the current promotions and staff pictures, as well as the Events Calendar.
• Work closely with our website provider on SEO (Search Engine Optimization)
• Coordinate with Manager for upcoming Bike Nights and Store Sponsored Events.

Job Skill & Qualifications:

• Previous marketing and communication experience is preferred but not required
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to use programs such as, word, excel, power point, Adobe Photoshop etc.
• Basic computer skills
• Basic customer skills
