Hawkeye Motor Works of Davenport is looking for a Full-Time Service Advisor/Writer.
Job description: Check in vehicles, set up and maintain repair-orders, communicate with customers, Schedule appointments
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license
Experience with servicing motorcycles servicing vehicles
Good communication Attention to details
Ability to use computer system
Hustle This is a full-time, 5 day per week job.
We are open 9-6 T-W and F., 9-8 on Th, and 9-4 on Sat. Pay is negotiable. If you’re good, we’ll pay to keep you!! Try us!!
This person must be willing to work in a fast pace environment and work well with a team.
Additional job requirements:
Provide high level of customer service
Provide good communication to customers and employees
Ability to communicate with technicians on repair orders
Ability to work with parts department
Ability to work with sales team
Handle customer complaints immediately
Make cost estimates for repair and maintenance procedures to provide to customers
Confer with customers to determine problems with units to determine issues
Explain repair procedures to customers prior to beginning work
Prepare invoices at the end of the repair or maintenance procedure
Explain diagnostic test results to customers and provide detail information regarding extent of damage
Provide customers with information on best brands and possible prices
Provide customers with information on repair and maintenance procedures
Make lists of needed parts and order or purchase from vendors
Answer phone calls and assist customers with service estimates and scheduling
Tracking Repair orders, parts order status, and scheduling technicians
Writing internal, customer, and warranty repair orders, noting damage, and attaching pictures
Following up ensuring customers needs are being meet
Invoicing closed repair orders
Possess product knowledge and understanding of mechanical components
Possess computer knowledge
Must be able to work Saturdays
All other duties assigned by manager
