Actively seeks out and negotiates the purchase of used motorcycles in the local market and beyond for retail at the dealership.

Partner with management to develop relationships that enhance the sales and retention process
Maintains current job and product knowledge to improve effectiveness with Clients and assigned tasks
Actively listens and communicates, verbally and in writing, in a courteous, professional, clear, concise, and correct manner to identify Client needs beyond expressed concerns
Responds in a timely, courteous, welcoming and professional manner with a “consultative, value-added” approach to secure Client understanding and develop stronger business relationships and increase future opportunity
Provides out-of-stock service for fleet accounts and local Police Departments in conjunction with new-vehicle department manager
Follow-up with any issues of delivery and/or delays
Supplies specifications as needed for orders
Maintains accurate records of fleet business and processes
Solicits commercial fleet accounts
Ensures quality of deliveries of all fleet sales
Follow-up on dealership payment for delivered fleet, lease company, and commercial account vehicles routinely
Supplies new vehicle department manager with monthly forecasts of fleet deliveries
Support all other aspects of the sales department
Bid all local, state, and federal opportunities for fleet sales



High school diploma or equivalent


(Harley-Davidson preferred but not required)
Proven track record of success

Takes responsibility/committed to good decision making
Strong computer and phone skills (Internet, Microsoft Outlook, CRM)
Solid understanding of inventory control
Working knowledge of F&I

Effectively manage time to meet and exceed company set metrics and goals
Must have valid Motorcycle Driver’s License
Must Pass a Background Check and Drug Test
Must have strong written and verbal communicate skills
Must possess a consistent desire to win in a competitive environment
Strong desire to work independently and within a team setting
Provide continuous effort to increase customer satisfaction, sales, drive company branding and improve overall business quality
Implement and adhere to internal policies and procedures
Ability to complete accurate documents and contracts
Prioritize effectively to maximize production time
Strong ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Robert is a motorcycle enthusiast who sat on the seat of his first motorcycle at the age of six and is still riding today (2010 Street Glide is his baby, 22523 miles, and counting!). Robert got his start in the motorcycle industry over 25 years ago as a sales associate and was instrumental in growing several dealerships in the Deep South the Midwest.
