With the continued growth of Gateway Harley-Davidson, we are looking for a highly motivated and ambitious person to fill the Sales Manager position.  The ideal candidate will be an aggressive closer and have a proven track record in sales, leadership and the ability to build a strong sales team.

What it takes to be a Harley-Davidson Sales Manager ?

3-5 years of experience within the sales department of a Harley-Davidson or powersports/motorcycle dealership
Thorough knowledge of and experience with sales of Harley-Davidson motorcycles or equivalent powersports
Strong leadership and managerial skills
High-energy, self-motivated, competitive individual
Knowledge and desire to develop a sales team
Superior face to face communication skills, focused on a high standard of customer service
Organized with superior time management skills and attention to detail
A passion for the Harley-Davidson brand
Hire, train, and enforce salespeople’s use of Sales Process. Monitor the customer greeting, probe, write up, etc. Assist in closing deals.
Establish overall department monthly objectives, daily salesperson objectives. Design special incentive programs for salespeople including regular spiffs and contests.
Review logs daily and spot opportunities. Conduct daily Sales Huddle with salespeople to review the day’s objectives. Hold weekly sales training meetings. Enforce Proper CRM Utilization.
