General Sales Manager – Powersports Dealership (Sacramento)

Compensation: $130,000-$170,000 Per Year

Job Title: General Sales Manager

High volume Powersports dealership located in the Greater Sacramento Area is seeking full-time, experienced, customer-focused General Sales Manager to assist with our growth. As of one of the largest Powersports dealers in California, our company offers competitive salary, starting 2-weeks of PTO (Paid Time-Off) with accrual of increased PTO, paid medical benefits, 401(k) and Profit Share Plan including company matching.

In your role as General Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing a staff of approximately 5 to 7 Sales and Finance personnel. You will help your staff achieve sales success in pursuit of company and department goals. Our family-oriented dealership culture rewards performance and commitment to Customer Service.

Qualified candidates must possess the following:

• Demonstrated success of 3 to 5 years of direct Sales Management experience in an automotive or Powersports dealership environment

• Excellent oral written communication skills

• Excellent organizational and planning skills

• Ability to manage and mentor sales people in a retail vehicle sales environment

• Ability to work closely with other department Managers to achieve dealership sales goals

• Tracking and ordering of all new vehicles from numerous Powersports OEMs

• Close management of inventory levels with a proactive approach to identifying and liquidating aged inventory

• Work closely with the General Manager to hire, train and retain the very best sales people in our industry.

• Clean DMV and M1 license
