Parts Manager

Davis Service Center is a full-service multi-line dealership located on the Western Slope of Colorado. We are looking nationwide for a knowledgeable and passionate individual to help grow our company through effective and customer-focused leadership of the Parts Department.

Job Description:

Establish departmental work schedule, balancing the workload of all employees
Set policies and procedures for P&A department
Manage employee performance through counseling and ongoing feedback
Assist General Manager with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and terminating employees
Review stock orders, maintain needed stock for demand
Supervise and maintain an accurate up-to-date inventory management and control system through ongoing perpetual inventory counts.
Display strong problem-solving skills and creative thinking to overcome day-to-day issues in dealership life.
Follow industry best practices of ordering, receiving, and inventory control.
General management of large parts department.
Generate and review Inventory reports from Dealer Information System
Develop and maintain budgeted revenue and expense objectives
Provides world-class customer service to both internal (Service Department) and external customers
Managing an online/e-commerce retail presence
Demonstrate a proactive management style.
Assist staff when needed

Requirements:
Experience with retail sales and inventory management
Experience managing four plus employees
Experience managing a large parts department
Experience with hiring, training and leading people
Ability to learn quickly.
Lightspeed experience preferred but not required
Excellent computer skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills as this position interacts regularly

with all other departments within the organization
Experience with all brands and manufacturers strongly desired
Strong detail orientation and follow up skills
Have strong knowledge of the mechanics of powersports products

dealer. We have been in business since 1975. We are located on the Western slope of Colorado. Montrose where we call home and we are located in a valley surrounded by mountains. So most winter days we can ride snowmobiles in the morning and come back and shred motorcycles in the afternoon.
