Assembly Tech
CWI is looking for a full time crankshaft assembly technician
We modify and rebuild press together crankshafts for leading engine builders , race teams, and OEMs, in the powersports industry
Job Duties will include
: disassemble crankshafts using hydraulic presses
: inspect and measure components of the crankshaft ; main bearing press fit, rod pin press fit , rod diameters , etc
: make a detailed report of work to be performed along with digital pictures and measurements on new cranks
: clean and prep for assembly
: assemble cranks with hydraulic presses and fixtures to proper assembly specs and truing to proper specs
: Maintain a clean work environment
: Help maintain and repair any damaged equipment
: Help maintain inventory
Desired Qualities we are looking for
: People that have a drive for the powersports industry
: Knowledge of powersport products we don’t want to have to explain the difference between a TRX 450 and a YZ250
: Good math skills
: Knowledge of measuring equipment , micrometers , dial bore gauge , height gauges , calipers ,etc
: Good communication skills , work well with team members
: A drive to be better and learn new things and run different equipment or balance cranks etc
: Good mechanical skills , able to self solve problems
: Retain information and be a self starter
: general computer skills , you will documenting and invoicing on various software
: A very high attention to detail
; Tig welding is a plus ,, we will train
: Any experience with manual mills and lathe is a plus
: Must be able to stand alot , lift at least 75lbs
: Must have valid drivers license and transportation
: Must be a U.S. citizen or have valid work visa
: This is a full time 40+ hours a week
