About COWTOWN POWERSPORTS

Cowtown Power Sports was established in 1982, but the story begins ten years earlier. In 1973, Dennis Niles and Kenneth Smith opened their first motorcycle dealership. After steady success, they decided to go BIG and build their own dealership. They broke ground in 1981 and opened their new dealership's doors a year later. The founders wanted the dealership name to possess local significance so they called their new dealership Cowtown Yamaha and Longhorn Honda. Three years later the Honda store separated and the 4808 S.E Loop 820 location officially became known as Cowtown Power Sports in 1987. To date, the Niles family has maintained ownership for 34 years.

No matter the twists and turns these original owners faced, they saw the future of side x side, UTV, ATV and personal watercraft sales in the DFW metroplex and capitalized on it. They saw opportunity and with ambition, hard work and a passion for the powersports industry, they built the foundation for a successful dealership that we see today. Its progress and growth could not have been possible without the support and loyalty of the local DFW community.

A big round of thanks to the customers, staff and DFW community for over three decades of business. God Bless!
