Overview

The Sales Director, Motorcycle is accountable for developing and leading the motorcycle sales and dealer development strategy in the US market.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

·         Develops go-to-market strategy for motorcycle product in the US market

·         Responsible for developing the motorcycle dealer network

·         Implements motorcycle sales plans and programs

·         Analyses and monitors motorcycle industry data

·         Partners with Service team to ensure dealers are serviced as needed

·         Travels to dealers and consumer events as required

·         Responsible for maintaining a high level of customer service, professionalism and projecting a positive image of CFMOTO Powersports

·         Ensures a clean and safe work environment for employees

·         Responsible for operating within standard operating procedures and following all Company Health & Safety guidelines

·         Other duties as required

 

Qualifications

Education & Experience Required

·         10+ years of sales experience in the motorcycle industry

·         3+ years of sales leadership experience in the motorcycle industry

·         Bachelor’s degree

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills

·         Strategic thinker with the ability to be hands-on in operations

·         Ability to collaborate cross-functionally

·         Must possess exceptional organizational and time management skills with an obsessive attention to detail

·         Must have superior budgeting and cost management abilities, assessing estimated costs early in the project and bringing the actual costs in line

·         Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

·         High level negotiation and dispute resolution skills

·         Must have experience leading teams of individuals from a variety of different backgrounds and disciplines

 

Education & Experience Preferred

·         6-10+ years’ experience in a similar role

 

Additional Information

·         All applicants must be eligible to work in the US

·         Normal schedule is Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm; ability to work required hours

·         Working conditions are normal for an office environment

·         Requires use of office equipment such as computers, telephones, copy machines

·         Required sitting and computer-related activities for extended periods of time

·         Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

·         Equipment operation requires specialized training and testing within CFMOTO standards

·         Travel up to 50% including international travel
