The BMW Motorrad National Technical Support Engineer provides motorcycle and scooter second level technical support on escalated cases for new/used motorcycles, parts and accessories to BMW Motorrad USA and Canada dealers through various channels such as in-dealer visits, and an online TSARA hotline. They will provide technical advice and adequate coaching to the technical support team members responsible for handling first level cases as required, and will be responsible for improving product quality, enhancing customer satisfaction, brand loyalty, and customer retention by ensuring that motorcycles are fixed right the first time.

He/She will conduct Special Product Investigations, providing detailed reports to accurately support their finding, protect BMW’s position, and provides expert testimony during customer litigations as directed by the BMW corporate legal team. The Technical Support Engineer  will serve as “fly-in” High Voltage repair team for electric vehicles and physical labor for the repair of open recalls on unsold inventory in the Nazareth, PA warehouse.

  • High School Diploma
  • 5+ years’ experience as an automotive technician preferable in the powersports business.
  • Experienced in all aspects of motorcycle repair (mechanical, chassis, brakes, electrics etc.)
  • Shop foreman or workshop leadership experience
  • High voltage repair and system knowledge and/or Blitz certification
  • Overnight travel and day traveling to support dealers a minimum of 30-50%


  • Valid US driver’s license with motorcycle endorsement and a clean driving record
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Negotiation, reasoning and diplomatic skills when resolving customer and dealer satisfaction issues
