A growing high volume Harley-Davidson® dealership located in Southern California is looking for a Service Writer. The Service Writer works with our customers to help them with their Service needs, accessory installation and performance upgrades
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Building accurate parts and labor estimates for services, accessory installation, and repairs.
Efficiently creates appointments, work orders, and estimates.
Working closely with Technicians, Customers, Extended Service Plan providers, and parts to complete work orders as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Consulting with customers and keeping them informed as to the status of their jobs. Frequent and timely communication is required.
Looking up and requesting necessary parts needed to complete each job.
Notifying the customers when additional work is required.
Ability to test ride all motorcycles.
Ability to fill out and complete all necessary paperwork.
Maintain clean work area.
Must have:Excellent customer service skills
High attention to detail
Good organizational and time management skills
Harley Davidson Service Writer experience preferred.
Computer literacy required. Talon experience preferred,
High energy and Can-do attitude
Summary Description:Schedule appointments, write work orders, build estimates and close work orders. Work with customers, outside vendors, and technicians to complete service work quickly and efficiently.

Is potentially exposed to battery acid, gasoline, chemical cleaning materials or other toxic materials commonly found in a motor vehicle service department.
Occasionally, exposed to exhaust fumes or other airborne particles.
