This new location complements our existing location, Mid America Harley-Davidson in Columbia, Missouri. Mid America Harley-Davidson has a 20+ year history as a leading Harley-Davidson dealer in the Midwest. Barn House Harley-Davidson is currently seeking an experienced, enthusiastic individual to grow with us and join our team in the role of Store Manager.
Position Description and Duties:
Proven leader with ability to hire, train and retain staff
Able to work cross-functionally with all departments with an emphasis on Sales and Finance. Responsible for achieving all Key Performance Indicators for this location as they relate to sales, inventory, profitability and customer satisfaction.
Can work with the General Manager to implement a successful sales process that includes producing maximum unit sales with optimum gross margins
Has significant experience in Harley-Davidson motorcycle sales or has a comparable automotive sales background with an in depth understanding and passion for Harley-Davidson motorcycles
Excellent communication skills as this position will be the face of the dealership to customers, and employees and will report directly to the General Manager
Produce acceptable levels of revenue and profits for the dealership by selling Finance, Insurance, and Extended Service and Warranty programs to new and used motorcycle customers.
Establish and maintain good working relationships with finance sources, factory and other appropriate contracts.
Maintain files of active insurance and financial agencies.
Proactively recruit and maintain sources for other Finance and Insurance Products.
Meet or exceed monthly sales objectives and attain goals. Provide reports as requested.
Pursue continuing programs of formal and informal education in the area of expertise to maintain, strengthen and broaden service. Join any relevant associations.
Submit paperwork to/obtain approval from finance sources on all finance deals.
Make a reasonable effort to convert cash deals to financed deals by selling the merits of financing versus paying cash
