Overview

We are a very fast-paced, rapidly growing company seeking a well-rounded candidate to fill a position with multiple duties. Our ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in aftermarket performance parts and service for off-road vehicles. We are seeking a candidate interested in long term employment that will grow with the company. Health insurance after 90 days.

Duties of this position may include:

Assisting lead mechanic with tear down and general shop functions (parts cleaning/disassembly/inspection).
Be able to sit, stand, reach, stoop, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, push/balance bikes as heavy as 800 pounds.
Complete repair work within the scheduled or allotted time period, and continually improve this “efficiency” skill.
Keep work area as clean as possible and assist others with maintaining shop cleanliness.
Safe use of power shop tools (i.e. grinders, sanders, presses, drills, lathes, and mills).
Perform service, repair, and customization work.
Ability to read OEM schematics/microfiche.
Knowledge and understanding of OEM suppliers such as Polaris, Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki and aftermarket suppliers such as CP/Carrillo, Wiseco, JE. etc etc.
Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Clean and extremely detail oriented.
Desire to learn and advance within the company.
The ability to work well independently with minimal direction.
Applicants must have a minimum of 5+ years as a powersport mechanic/technician in a repair shop setting.
Minimize comebacks by taking time to ensure all work is completed properly.

 

Job Type: Full-time.

 

Pay DOE: $13-17 an hour.
