Starting from Product Design Specification and under guidance of our Chief Designer, the CAD Designer will be digitally modelling the helmet outer shell and its main components (vents, trims, shield).

The process is to be reiterated – even with rapid prototyping if deemed necessary – until Chief Designer’s approval is reached and ultimately a finished 3D design model is delivered.

The CAD Designer will then support our Development Team in interpreting the model surfaces and the design constraints and will coordinate potential changes with Chief Designer.

  • 3 or more years of experience in the field of digital modelling in automotive or product design (preferably motorcycling/cycling helmets)
  • Knowledge of mechanical kinematics and materials (thermoplastics, composites, foams) and of most common production process (injection molding, thermoforming, lamination..)

Must have authorization to work for any US employer.

This position will work out of our Torrance, CA office.
