Overview
Highlights:
- Hourly rate starting between $28.00 – $34.00 per hour (depending upon experience)
- $5,000 Sign-On Bonus
- Relocation assistance for candidates relocating more than 50 miles
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Repairing, maintaining equipment and supporting daily production.
- Responding to breakdowns and calls to keep production running.
- Supporting weekend maintenance repair and PM activities when necessary.
- Supporting a reliability centered maintenance program.
- Supporting team activities and contributing your own ideas.
Essential Function and Responsibilities / Daily Tasks:
- Equipment inspections.
- Daily reporting and tracking of activities.
- Preventative maintenance.
- Continuous improvement.
A typical day for an (Equipment Service Technician) will include:
- Supporting department in achieving daily production targets.
- Performing daily equipment inspections/checks for abnormal situations.
- Documenting daily equipment related activities.
- Suggesting and implementing approval ideas that reduce repeat or potential downtime.
- Preventative maintenance and continuous improvement of equipment and tools as required in order to guarantee safety, quality, and delivery targets.
- Supporting weekend and plant shutdown activities.
- Equipment modifications as required to support business plan initiatives, new model requirements, or other retooling requirements
As an (Equipment Service Technician), you must have:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of three months of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment with a 2-year technical degree or a minimum of two years of relevant experience if no degree
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Daily reporting and tracking of activities.
- Plan, Do, Check, Action follow up items.
- Immediate response to production floor needs and requirements.
- Compliance with all safety policies and regulations.
- Able to communicate clearly in verbal and written format.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft products.
- Ability to be flexible and change work hours as needed.
- Able to analyze problems and determine root causes.
- Strong self-direction and drive.
- Capability to develop a high level a high level of expertise/aptitude in mechanical and electrical areas.
- Experience with Motoman robots.
- Experience with Omron PLCs.
Additional Information:
- Flexibility to work 2nd or 3rd shift long term.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, daily overtime and off shifts as needed.
