Hall’s Motorsports of Daphne is looking to hire a PDI Technician to join our growing team! We are part of the Adventure Lifestyle Group, a family owned and growing Powersports Dealer Group. We are a multiline dealership and carry Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki, CFMoto, Can-am, and other lines as well.
Pre-Delivery Techs are responsible for the Set-up of units and the Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) process, which includes detailing and performing light maintenance work on the units. Part of this job includes coordinating with the Service Manager and Sales personnel to ensure that the Set-up & PDI processes are completed in a safe and timely manner.
A commitment to excellent customer service and ability to work as part of a team are required.
PDI Technician Responsibilities:
Receive units at time of delivery and inspect units thoroughly to determine overall condition.
Follow the set-up and PDI sheets to ensure safety and other requirements are followed.
Follows quality control procedures.
Installs parts and accessories as needed.
Perform work in compliance with factory specs.
Completes work in a timely manner.
PDI Technician Requirements:
Powersports / Motorsports experience (strongly preferred)
Has own tools (preferred)
Positive attitude
Strong work ethic
Attention to detail
Mechanically inclined
Ability to lift/move 80 lbs
Must be able to support and push motorcycles, SxS’s, ATV’s
Ability to understand PDI and service manuals
Test drive units
Valid driver’s license with motorcycle endorsement
