Our client, a leader in the #HeavyEquipment industry, is looking for two Shipping Supervisors (day and night shifts) for their location in Central Florida. $50,000 to $55,000 annual to start plus attractive benefits plans and relocation assistance available.

Key performance areas: The Production Lead | Shipping directs and helps coordinate daily shipping activities with assigned team at the facility, including all shifts, to achieve the production plans. Performs duties associated with picking, packing and shipment of equipment and parts while also providing support to the Production Manager.

Additionally, the Production Lead | Shipping will be responsible for:


-Provide team with the information and direction needed to perform his/her job to the best of their ability.
-Provide coaching and assistance for personnel in promoting a way of working that ensures that the processes are in line with business while ensuring compliance and safety.
-Encourages the values of cleanliness and order in the shop.
-Promote and encourage a continuous improvement environment.


-Assists Production Manager to plan and maintain workload for personnel according to predefined production plan and agreed targets.
-Monitor and report day to day production data and business climate to the team and Production Manager as needed.
-Ensures that daily operations are happening in a proper manner in order to protect the building(s) as well as the company’s assets.
-Responds to unexpected maintenance needs on site and reports them to Facilities Manager.


-Sorts, records, labels, stores and distributes parts according to system and written documents.
-Understands shipping notice (shipper) or production request. -Retrieves and distributes needed parts in-house or to shipping area for customers.
-Conveys parts to desired location/positions by lifting, climbing, walking and operating equipment such as forklifts and cranes.
-Records part-related and shipment-related information on computer and on forms.
-Collect and pack orders per packing list and check for accuracy.
-Prepares parts, packages or completed rigs for shipment in accordance with instructions. Including making crates and weighing parts.
-Resolves shipping problems and/or reports to Supervisor for assistance.
-Maintains clean and safe working environment in accordance with company policies and procedures.
-Ensure all hazardous materials are handled properly and in accordance with required regulations.
-Other tasks as assigned by Manager or Supervisor.
