We’re looking for a dynamic, creative SR. MARKETING MANAGER who is excited to create across several marketing disciplines from brand and creative to communications and social to product and digital.  As our first in house marketing hire, you are a true Marketing Generalist with leanings towards creative and brand marketing.  The right candidate is a builder at heart who will help us jump the curve in our next phase of growth by designing, implementing and executing marketing strategies to create brand identity and awareness and promote new and existing TOMCAR products.  Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you will start by taking over all existing marketing duties from the CEO; then finding ways to innovate and improve the organization’s existing marketing ventures as well as building new ones. You will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team collaborating with the Sales, Finance, Operations, Engineering and Manufacturing teams to create and execute a holistic marketing strategy, and ensure alignment to achieve the marketing and growth goals of the organization.

  • Self-starter Marketing Operator who enjoys taking ownership and will lead all aspects of our marketing strategy, project management, and execution. We don’t expect you to be an expert in every area of marketing, but you have enough knowledge to know what you can execute on and what you will work with outside contractors on to execute across the remaining areas.

You thrive in ambiguity, figuring out who to pattern with for what and can connect meaningfully with all types of personalities and feel energized pursuing and persisting to create meaningful results.


  • Create a complete new creative package for the brand focusing on promoting the latest TOMCAR vehicle with updated media including photos, video and content.
  • Revamp and redesign the Website to align with the TOMCAR suite of vehicles and create a full feature configurator that enables complete customer direct purchasing for our retail and wholesale customers.
  • Direct and Manage contractors and outside agencies to set clear expectations, deliverables and timelines including revisions, feedback, and alignment with internal stakeholders.
  • Oversight and ownership of all company social platforms, website, branded assets and brand tracking.
  • Partner with the CFO on any day to day needs and manage the Marketing budget and expenses.
  • Partner with the Engineering leader on market research and competitive intelligence.
  • Partner with the Sales and Engineering leaders on target market, customer segmentation, and pricing, positioning and messaging.
  • Partner with the Sales leader and Product Sales Specialist on collateral development, event marketing and promotions, and any channel marketing needs.
  • Partner with the CEO and stakeholders to identify, own and drive the strategic marketing direction, development, and implementation to build the brand.


  • Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years of professional work experience in brand marketing, creative services, marketing communications or related role, or equivalent level of experience.
  • Exposure to and Familiarity with the UTV, powersports, marine, off-road utility vehicle, or a similar space.  2-3 years of experience in marketing this kind of product is ideal.
  • Excellent storytelling, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized and results-oriented, with the ability to thrive in ambiguity and keep multiple projects moving forward at once.
  • Ability to make decisions, such as prioritizing which areas to focus on, which to outsource, and overcoming obstacles with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with using systems and tools for email marketing, social media management, event management, landing page creation, SEO, and organic and paid advertising.
  • Up to 15% travel as needed for events, brand and market research, and customer visits.

We are TOMCAR… the manufacturer of premium Off-Road Utility Vehicles with military DNA.  From mining companies, movie makers, recreational enthusiasts, and back to the special operations groups it was designed to serve, TOMCAR has been tested in the most extreme conditions by the most demanding and particular clients and has become a premium vehicle built for life.

It all began with a top-secret mission in 1967. A specialized unit of airborne commandos parachuted behind enemy lines on a highly dangerous assignment. All six airdropped jeeps were destroyed upon landing leaving the unit stranded. Miraculously, the unit’s commander was able to construct two working vehicles from the wreckage, allowing the commandos to complete their mission successfully.

Twenty-five years later, the same commander used that experience and his resourceful thinking to create the first TOMCAR. This dependable, highly functional, all-terrain vehicle was exceptionally durable from its conception and has always been the strongest in its class.
